Senior Management

John Norris, managing director, began his career in the City as a trader in equities, FX and derivatives, advising clients on finance and risk management. He then led a pan-European team within IDC (part of Chase Manhattan) specialising in complex portfolio management software and capital markets trading applications.

John has worked at a senior level for institutions including Citibank, ADP, Datastream and Dow Jones, with responsibility for regional marketing and PR programmes. At Citibank and ADP, he focused on global marketing initiatives targeting major financial institutions and co-ordinating public relations campaigns.

Alla Lapidus, director, began her career developing trading room applications at Morgan Guaranty, before moving to Kleinwort Benson where she had responsibility for evaluating and implementing trading room applications. At Dow Jones Telerate she was responsible for marketing and product management of real-time systems. She then joined Financial Times Information, tasked with developing strategy for real-time market data and back office systems.

The team consists of experienced individuals with skills within wholesale finance, covering investment banking, securities broking, real-time market data, technical analysis, front and back-office systems, online trading systems, marketing, copywriting, journalism, relationship management, creative design and multimedia skills, collateral production and print management, exhibitions and conferencing.
